There was a crew that set out on a Saturday morning (almost afternoon by the time we set up the shuttle ... even though we met at Huffman-Carrs at 7:30am !).  We started at the end of the Palmer Creek Road and connected a few ridges and valleys to summit.  It would have been possible to go all the way to Summit Creek but we dicided to try hiking out Colorado Creek instead and were rewarded with a fabulous trail right to the Summit Lake Lodge.

At the trailhead ... gorgeous day
