Unfortunately, it was a Sunday. This meant that Adrienne had to work tomorrow. She accompanied August and I in but could not stay; she turned around at Bombardment Pass while August and I continued through the pass to the Peter's Creek on the other side. Originally, we (I?) were going to just try a few peaks around Thunderbird Peak. However, while walking down Peter's Creek I got a good look at the route up East Killiak and talked August into changing our itinerary. This first day, all we did was hike in.
